More likely than you think. It was pretty damn annoying to put together but… it looks pretty good in the end. That and eventually I intend on having a 3rd 24″ LCD here. 😀 .

:D

😀

So It’s a little narrow, but eh. Works pretty well for all my needs. and I have space to put figs now. 😀

Anyhow, back to watching True Tears for me. (Catching up on old stuff). Sadly, I should be at work – however, I’m coughing up bits of crap everywhere and have a gigantic headache. I highly doubt I can work in my current state.

Sometimes I just absolutely hate my immune system. With a very strong passion. Ahh well, what can you do. Not like you can go in there yourself and fight it… (If only you could though, cause that would be awesome.)

Anyhow, back to popping meds again for me.

So, I’m half intent to sing a song tonight. That and I’ve been up for about 8 hours playing Valkyria Chronicles. Sweet lord, it’s an awesome game.

Rin evidently thinks this is awesome. You should too.

Rin evidently thinks this is awesome. You should too.

That and I’ve somehow warped “Favourite things” into my own little gamer edition…

Rockband, Team Fortress and Taiko Tatsujin,

Warcraft Expansions, photographing figures,

My pc parts overclocked before spring..

These are a few of my favourite things.

Remind me not to stay up ’till 5 in the morning next time. My creative “flair” usually turns out to be creative failure around now. 😛 On that note, I don’t play Taiko Tatsujin (Or is it Taiko no tatsujin) as much as I’d like to. Only like… once when I can get my hands on my DS. Because my brother always takes it. The little crap.

That aside, perhaps I’ll finish that song one day, to be some kind of geeky gamer/otaku anthem, who knows. For now, I’ll just go back to enjoying playing Valkyria and practicing Cammy’s Ultra combo.

Great for that morning burst of brainpower

Great for that morning burst of brainpower

This cup is awesome. It’s big, it holds my hot cup of drink, it keeps me awake at night, and it also keeps me warm and fuzzy. Litterally.

The cake was a lie, but my morning milk tea? I THINK NOT.
For those interested in it, grab it at the valve store. But I highly recommend that you do a group order though. Shipping is 25 USD – get 3-4 mates and buy 40-50 worth of stuff each, and you’re set.

My thoughts on the HTC Touch Pro March 24, 2009

So far, it’s a fantastic phone.

I’ve flashed the firmware on it to Elite RC3, so far very zippy. If you do have one, check it out at XDA Developers.

My thoughts:

It’s amazing. It does everything I ask it to. The touch screen is nice and responsive, very accurate, the system overall is a pleasure to use. The software features it can do are amazing. I was in an office building today, and picked up 27 wireless networks.  Web browsing on the bus.. Photos. Hell, I can even use it as a torch.

The customization that you can do on this thing is amazing, too. It’s a good music player with the supplied headphones, too. Mail and SMS is flawless, and the letter recognization is fantastic, too.

The only downsides I’ve had so far:

  • Battery life (Even if I can charge through USB)
  • Memory size (Expandable to micro SD)
  • A little chuggy at times.

I would advise anyone looking at getting an iPhone to have a good strong look at these things before you do. There’s a price drop incoming on these things soon, so we should see some nice ~500ish prices. Good competition was never a bad thing. (Even if apple marketing is abit all over the place.)

Pics coming soon. My stupid camera is out of battery, however. (gomen, camera-kun).

EDIT: and now, some pics!

Overall, nice package

Curves. Subtle, yet hawt. Very solid build, despite buttons.

The keyboard is very solid, the slider is nice and firm too.

In my photo stint at Skyfire 2009, I came upon 2 things.

The first, was the fireworks technician with his pants half down on the platform.

The seccond, was the fireworks in the shape of a penis.

Oh, the maturity.

Well played.

I really should be writing job criteria. Ahh well.

This is Saturdaaaaaaaaa...y

This is Saturdaaaaaaaaa...y

Weekends are fantastic when I don’t work. Nothing I need to stress about, it’s relaxing, I can actually vacuum my room… The list goes on. For now though, I’m catching up on old episodes of Hayate no Gotoku before I do anything else. 😛

So far, watching it again is quite hilarious. I miss the days where I had more time to pick things up and laugh at them.

In other news, I shall sometime have a new set of Aktimate mini’s! For those who don’t know, these are a little pair of bookshelf speakers that sound simply amazing. It’d be a fair upgrade from these aging Logitech G-51’s anyway. Less crosstalk is always a good thing.

Apart from doing server builds in my spare time for my studies, and researching on WAN/VPN technologies for said studies, I don’t learn that much these days either, sadly. I am working on Japanese fairly well though, self-studying. It’s getting there. Not fantastic so far, and I can’t really fluently structure sentences, but it’s alot better than it was a year ago!

Otherwise, my weekends are fairly quiet these days. Rather uneventful, if anything. No girlfriend or anything kinda makes it pretty self explanatory I obviously just stay at home and play games masturbate all weekend. Lol. Ah well. I do, however have Valkyria Chronicles and Street Fighter 4, along with Resident Evil 5 to enjoy all weekend. Which I’ll probably end up just playing Street Fighter and Valkyria Chronicles. And practicing TF2.

Wait, did I say gaming. I obviously meant the other.
