Well, this game looks nothing short of amazing. Screenshots Courtesy of IGN before I continue.
Anyhow. I’ve pretty much played the Gran Turismo series since ye olde Playstation… 10 years ago now. It was an amazingly fun game, even if I had no idea what port polishing was. (Come to think of it, I don’t really know what it is still..)
Gran Turismo 4 on the PS2 I appreciated abit more. Amazing graphics and car handling for a simulation game. Hell, physics etc was something awe-inspiring as well. Pure bliss on wheels, even.
So it seems now Sony have done something more. They’ve announced a full list of cars. Some 350 of them will be available at launch, many more will come as DLC (Downloadable content for those playing at home), all with the full suite of customisation that the game always has allowed. I love GT just because well. It allows you to customise a car to the level that it does. However, I don’t think it’ll let me do stupid things anymore. 😦
RIP, 800KG muscle car. RIP. Nonetheless, as you can see from the screenshots – it looks amazing. Lets hope the physics etc will live up to the gigantic fanbase the last few games have left. Apparently there’s going to be proper physics, too. Like crumple zones and stuff. That would be quite cool…
Nonetheless, this one has definitely made it on to my preordered list. Now to wait for the collectors edition. I’ve got a good feeling this winter is going to be a good one . Or next winter. Or whenever this damn game comes out. 🙂 Anyway, the full list of cars can be found here. I would treat it with a pinch of salt for now, however, still being this early before the release. EDIT: Ok, so it’s a wishlist. It’ll be more like 900 on release.
Anyhow, Reijin out.
